More than just a dessert, this autumnal tart combines the benefits of fiber- and antioxidant-rich figs with the soothing and antibacterial properties of jujube blossom honey. A healthy, delicious, and comforting combination, ideal for boosting immunity as winter approaches while delighting the taste buds.
Ingredients (for 6 people)

1 all-butter shortcrust pastry

8 to 10 fresh, ripe figs

3 tablespoons of BOYA jujube flower honey

2 tablespoons of almond powder

20 g butter

A few flaked almonds for decoration

1 pinch of cinnamon (optional)

1 rolling pin (if homemade dough)

Step-by-step preparation
1️⃣ Preheat the oven to 180°C (gas mark 6).
2️⃣ Spread the shortcrust pastry in the baking tin lined with baking paper and prick it with a fork.
3️⃣ Sprinkle the bottom of the tart with the almond powder.
4️⃣ Wash and dry the figs, then cut them into quarters. Arrange them harmoniously on the dough.
5️⃣ Dot with small knobs of butter and drizzle with 2 tablespoons of jujube honey.
6️⃣ Sprinkle with a pinch of cinnamon if desired, then bake for 30 minutes.
7️⃣ Once out of the oven, let cool for 10 minutes before brushing with the last spoonful of honey for a nice shine.
8️⃣ Decorate with some lightly toasted flaked almonds.
